Obituary

William “Dub” Parker of Bronson, Florida transitioned from this walk of life Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the age of 75.  Mr. Parker was born in Columbia, AL and moved to Bronson, FL where he grew up, attended Levy county public schools, and worked.  Mr. Parker retired from BK Cypress Mill as a heavy equipment operator.  He enjoyed fishing and had a sense of humor that was larger than life.  William was preceded in death by his parents, Dealer Mae and Ed Parker, siblings:Charles E. Parker, Eddie B. Parker, and Sweetie Parker Thomas. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Diane Parker McClendon and second wife, Mary Thomas Parker.

Mr. Parker is survived by his daughter, Shelia Parker Hall, Gainesville, FL; siblings: Eura Evans of Dothan, AL, Della Parker Jones, Talladega, AL and Letroy A. Parker, Orlando, FL; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Parker at a future date.
