Mrs. Willette Gandues was born on December 15th,1954 in Gainesville, FL to the late Willie & Eula Ford. She was a graduate of Eastside High School Class of 1973.
Willette gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by General Electric and United States Postal Service.
Willette was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Gandues Jr, her parents, Willie & Eula Ford, her daughter, Shan Gandues, her son-in-law, Billy Plummer, her brother, Willie Ford and her sister, Carrie Bell Sulton.
Willette accepted the Master’s call and entered her heavenly rest on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
She leaves to mourn her children; fur baby Franklin; her daughters, Tan Plummer, Rhonda (Charles) Wright, Mignon Hill all of Gainesville, FL, Crystal Gandues of Clayton, NC and Michelle Clay of Portugal; her son, Lonnie (Jenae) Gandues of Rochester, NY; her goddaughter, Stephanie King; her grandchildren, Tomesha, Alexis, Sammie, Alize, Ronte, Jeremiah, Desmond, Nedrick, Lorenzo, L’Oreal, Timothy, Donte, Zymaria, Christian, Jahylonni, Yahni, Ladarious and Jaquari; her great-grands, Saniyah, Alaya, Makhi, Alijah, Arial, Nyore and Elijah; her fur granddog, CoCo; her sisters, Louise Wilson, Dollie (Warren) Lang, Alpha Davis, Lestine Ford, Judith Martin and Jennifer (Ricky) Pettigrew all of Gainesville, FL, her brother, Andrew Ford of Gainesville, FL; In-laws, Jeff (Alice) Williams, Johnny (Margo) Bristol, Joseph (Helen) Bristol, Ida Bristol, Sallie Williams, Mary Mobley; her aunt, Mattie Peeples; her uncles, Gussie Butler & Billie Butler. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
