Ronald J. “Peewee” Scott was born on March 30, 1953, in Nesmith, South Carolina to the late Vander Lee and Mary V. Scott.
Peewee along with his family moved to Waldo, FL when he was a young boy. He met and married Deborah Bolton. In this union, two children were born: Ronald Scott, Jr. and Mari Scott.
Ronald was a life-time member of the Former True Church of God in Unity. He is a 1972 Graduate of Gainesville High School, Gainesville, FL and briefly attended the University of Tampa, Tampa, FL to pursue a degree in Electronics.
Peewee was employed for over 10 years with the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company. He was also employed for over 15 years with Krugman-Kadi, Eilon, PA. He retired and settled into doing the things that made him happy. Peewee was a loving, loyal, faithful and kind individual to his family and friends. He treated everyone the way he wanted to be treated. He loved having his family and friends around him and enjoyed cookouts, playing his guitar and listening to his music. He was a calm funny person who enjoyed joking around and playing pranks on those he cherished. Peewee was truly blessed to have been surrounded by his loving and devoted family.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories two children: Ronald J. Scott, Jr. (Kelly), Mari Scott Patterson (Kevin), and one guard son: Kindu Mitchell. Three brothers: Willie Scott, Wendell Scott (Kathy), Irvin Scott (Angela); seven sisters: Lula M. Williams (Simmie), Dennie M. Johnson, Loretta S. Robinson, Sandra L. Scott, Gladys D. Washington (Dean), Sharon L. Scott, and Catherine Beauford, Hampton, Virginia. Four grandchildren: Kaleb Patterson, Alex Patterson, Preston Scott, Dillon Scott and a host of Nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.
