Hana Yasmeen Fawaz was born on December 30, 1995 in Gainesville, FL to Destiny Ortega and Hassan Fawaz. She was raised in Bradford County, but moved to Tennessee for several years before relocating back to Florida. She attended Bradford County Public Schools and graduated from Bradford High School.
In her early years, she moved briefly to Tennessee, where she was very active in church at Word of Life Youth Ministries in Tennessee. She most recently worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant as well a Correctional Officer. Her greatest gift and joy was working to provide and carefor her two beautiful children. She also enjoyed drawing, baking, shopping and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed drawing and painting with her grandfather Billy during her time in Tennessee.
Hana departed this life on Monday, March 22, 2021 and entered eternal rest. Hana lived her life to the fullest. So many moments shared will not be forgotten. She’s gone now, but she will always be remembered and have a special place in our hearts.
Those left to cherish her precious memories; her two beautiful children, Skylar Jones and Ja’Mane Scott; her love, Justin Scott; her sisters, Alejandra Hernandez, Aaliyah Fawaz and Lilly Fawaz; her brothers, Reinaldo “Papo” Quinones, Alejandro Fawaz and Xander Fawaz;her niece, Kimora Hernandez-Green; her father, Hassan Fawaz; her grandparents, Robert Ortega, Kimberly Armstrong (Deceased), Najah Lee (Billy), Mike Fawaz ; her aunts, Carol Perkins, Rebecca Lee, Racheal Lee; her uncles, Michael Fawaz, Tre Lee (Deceased), and a host of cousins, neighbors and sorrowing friends.
