Today, we come together to celebrate the homegoing of my devoted husband and friend, a loving father, and a loyal, faithful man.
Bobby Lee McGollie, Sr., was born on February 16, 1965, in Palatka, Florida, to the late Ernest J. McGollie, Jr., and Rosemary Flowers McGollie. He was raised in Melrose, Florida, and was a lifelong resident.
He attended Melrose Elementary School and went on to graduate from Interlachen High School. He was the owner of Bobby’s Pump Service. Bobby was loved by all who knew him and will be missed dearly. He was a member of the North Central Florida Water Well Association.
Those left to cherish Bobby’s precious memories: his loving and devoted wife and best friend of 40 years, Margie McGollie of Melrose, Florida; they were blessed with three beautiful children, NaShounda McGollie (Michael), Robert Lee McGollie, and Tanisha McGollie, all of Melrose, Florida; and one loving granddaughter, Alania Wampler all of Melrose, Florida. He was preceded in death by one brother, Morris McGollie; leaving four siblings, Glenn Dell (Audrey) McGollie, Sharon McGollie-Greenlee, Amy McGollie, and Tiffany McGollie, all of Melrose, Florida; one brother-in-law, Sammy Daniels; one sister-in-law, Bessie Walker; a godfather, Jessie (Yvonne) Heard of Gainesville, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
