Andrea Dee Bass, left this earth on January 5, 2021.
She was born in Cocoa Beach, FL to John P. Pappas and Margaret Roebuck Pappasin July of 1973.
Andrea graduated from Northeast High School, St. Petersburg,FL. She spent many years travelling the world as a child, while her parents were in the Air Force. She spoke fondly of the memories of Norway, Myrtle Beach, SC, upstate New York and Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma, but her favorite memory is of snow skiing to the music of Rick Springfield, as a teenager.
Andrea served joyfully as a daycare teacher and cared for people with disablities. She loved those children very much. Then she and her husband Michael operated their insurance business in St. Pete, FL before moving to Live Oak, FL to be near her mother.
Some of her other hobbies she loved were visiting historic places, thrift store shopping and antiquing, or relaxing by a river or stream. She deeply loved her 4 English Bulldogs; Frankie, Fiona, Sadie, and Liberty.
Her favorite food was ropa veja and crab legs. She loved some of the 80's movies, like 16 Candles, The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and sunflowers were her favorite flowers.
She is preceded in death by her father, John Pappas.
Her survivors include her husband Michael Bass, her four children, Brittney Johnson (Akeem), Ashley Pappas, Spencer Reid Bass, and Riley J. Bass, her mother Margaret Pappas, two grandchildren Arielle and Tobia Johnson brother John Pappas (Julie). Also left behind to mourn her loss is her Uncle Raymond Roebuck and Aunt Bonnie Newman and cousin Laura Clifton.
There will be a private burial at Prairie Creek Conserrvation Cemetery.
She will greatly missed by all who loved her.
