Obituary

Sidney Charles Greene was born on May 14, 1951 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to the late Helen Lucille Rainey and Sidney Charles Wells.

He was raised in Philadelphia and relocated to Miami Florida in 1960.  Sidney temporary enlisted in the Armed Forces.  When he returned home, he meet Anrea Ivery who became a close friend. Sidney worked at US Cold Storage for over 20 years. In 1996 Sidney married his beloved wife, the late Rene Avis Bessard where they lived in Miami Florida. Shortly after her passing in 1999, Sidney relocated to Gainesville with his late sister Evon Carter. His health started failing in September of 2021. He was a very quiet person.  Even though he was going thru something, his family was always available to give support and he knew he was alright.  He was called home on Monday, January 10, 2022

FL, Sherry Patrick (Eugene Patrick) of Georgia; His 5 brothers, Cecil Green of Miami, FL, Willie Carter, Jr. of Miami, FL, David Carter (Karen Carter) of Georgia, Sammy Carter of Orlando, FL, and Kevin Carter (Natarsha Carter) of Georgia: 2 Sister-in-Laws: Ada Hanna (Kevin Hanna) of Miami, FL, Pinky of Miami, FL.; 3 bother-in-law: Regional Ivery of Gainesville, FL., John Bryant of Pompano Beach, FL., Leroy Rolle of Davie, FL., A special niece Amelia Davis (Daniel Davis, Sr.) as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and Family Friends.
