Obituary

Mrs. Novella Folston was born on October 5, 1961 in Gainesville, FL to Mr. & Mrs. Joseph and Rosa Lee Holmes.

She was educated in the Alachua County public school system and graduated from Buchholz High School.  She worked for Time Warner Customer Service until the company eventually relocated from the Gainesville area.  She won many awards for her excellent customer service and #1 sales representative for Time and Money Magazines.

Mrs. Novella Folston accepted the master’s call and entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Shands Hospital surrounded by her beloved family.

Those left to cherish her precious memories; her spouse, Ernest Folston; her children, Anthony A. Clark (Tashima), George Lee Quinn (Sounnique), Rossia Scott (Brandon) and Rosia Scott; her brothers, Edward Scott (Deneen) and Joseph Holmes Jr (Debbie) and her sister, Lenetha Scott.  She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Joseph and Rosa Lee Holmes, her brothers, Robert Sr, Isaac Scott, Leon Scott and Anthony Holmes.
