Presiding Pastor Lillie Mae Howard Cobb was born in Gainesville, Florida on March 10, 1939 to the late Colantha Holley. She was raised from the age of 9 by her grandmother the late, Izola Barron and the late Maxwell Howard Sr. Pastor Cobb attended Lincoln High School. She married Boston Cobb Sr on January 28th, 1959 and they spent 63 years in love. To this union five children were born. She became Pastor of the Tabernacle of the Enlightened Church of God, Inc in Gainesville, Florida in December 1988. Later she was ordained a presiding pastor. She dedicated her life to God and her family. She went home to be with the Lord on April 14, 2022. She was preceded in death by: daughters, Colantha Green and Tina Cobb, Siblings: Thurman, Cora Lee, Dorthy, Beverly, and Christine. Pastor Cobb leaves to cherish her memory: devoted husband, Boston Cobb Sr; Children: Boston Cobb Jr, Lori Ann (Angus) Bradshaw, and Earnest (Mary) Cobb Sr; Grandchildren: Lawrence Green Jr, Jarvis Bryson Sr, Elecia Green, Earnest (Alexandria) Cobb Jr, Antwan Cobb, Lorenzo Green, Asia Cobb, Mikayla Cobb, Eyden Cobb, Ebony White and Bryant Williams; Great Grandchildren: Tujuan Leonard, Jar’Nae Bryson, Jarvis Bryson Jr, Cayden Cobb, Marquez Ross Jr, and Makenzie Ross; Siblings: Walter (Evelyn) Sr, Lugenia, Louis, Maxwell Jr, Alan (Janie), Gracie (Wilford), Luna (Bellglade), Ernestine, Wally (Elaine), Bob (Sabrina), Willie (Betty), Wesley; Children in love: Carolyn (Lewis), Jessie Mae, Bessie; God children: Catherine Terrell, Roscoe Johnson, Brian Gent, and Ricky Lester; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
