He was a man who wore many, many hats, He was a husband, father, grandfather, coach, mentor, and a good friend to many people. He was well-known and respected in the community by everyone. He was a sports fanatic; he loved to not only watch sports, but also coached sports. He was a little league coach for so many kids back in the day; he literally ate, slept and breathed sports. As we all know, his favorite teams were the Florida Gators (chomp, chomp) and the Dallas Cowboys!!! Connie was a faithful employee of the Levy County School Board. Mr. James droves drove the “Big Yellow Bird.” He loved his job dearly and was always super excited about his sports trips, not just for the love of sports, but also the love of young people.
