Clifford Williams, Jr. started life’s journey on January 27, 1937 in Alachua, Florida; born to the late Clifford Williams, Sr. and Mabel “Eva Mae” Williams Thomas. He was the second eldest of 14 children.
His public school training was at A.C.T. School in Alachua, Florida.
His religious affiliation was with Cohen Temple First Born Church of The Living God under the leadership of Superintendent Gary Cohen in Gainesville, Florida where he was ordained as a deacon.
He retired from the School Board of Alachua County.
His wife, Jeanette Nattiel Kellum-Williams and daughter Joyce “Joy” Elaine Williams-Miller preceded him in death.
On Wednesday, June 10, 2020, while at E.T. York Hospice Center of Gainesville, Florida, Clifford’s journey ended from this earthly scene.

Sister-in-law, Lillie Mae Williams, Alachua, Florida; Brother-in-law, Thomas Nattiel (Lou), Alachua, Florida and Son-in-law, Bennit, Miller, Boston, Massachusetts.
Siblings that preceded him in death- Dr. Detroit Williams, Joseph Thomas, Clarence Williams, Joe Lee Williams, Sr. David Williams, Mabel Ann McClendon and Flora Mae Thomas.
16 Grandchildren, which includes a special graddaughter and caretaker, Tasha Middleton-Owens; 14 Great grandchildren, 2 Great, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
