Ann Marie (Callahan) Warman, 65, of Deltona, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, surrounded by family, at Advent Health Memorial Hospital.
Ann will be laid to rest at Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery, Gainesville, Florida, with a small family burial ceremony. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., at LifePoint Christian Church, 1470 Myrtle Lake Hills Rd, Longwood, Florida.
Ann was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, to Christine and Thomas Callahan on March 1, 1956. She attended Northbridge Senior High School in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, and graduated in 1975. She met her husband, John Warman, in 1978, and they were married in Daytona Beach, Florida. Ann was a dedicated volunteer, teacher, and social worker, but found her most fulfilling roles to be mother and homemaker for most of her life. Ann W. has been a proud friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob since 1978.
Ann was an animal lover and found great purpose in animal activism. She never found an animal she didn’t love. She enjoyed spending time with loved ones, dancing to music, going to concerts, writing, and crafting. Ann became “Momma Ann” to most of her children’s friends and many other young people she met along the way. She loved fully and fiercely, and she was incredibly loyal and generous to those that she cared about.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Christine and Thomas; her dedicated husband of 34 years, John; and many fur babies.
She is survived by her three children; Shellayna (Nathan), Albert (Takara), and John Christopher (Delilah), her devoted and loving partner Donnie, her brother Tom, her absolute favorites- her six grandbabies; Sofia, Collin, Oliver, Brantley, Weston, and John, and many friends and extended family members who were close to her heart.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Halifax Humane Society (https://www.halifaxhumanesociety.org/donate) or ASPCA (aspca.org).
