Alighier Dante “Bo” Young was September 11, 1978, in Gainesville, FL, to Diane Young and
(Sheila) Smith, Sr. He was raised in the Alachua community. He matriculated through the Alachua County Public School System and graduated from Santa Fe High School. Following high school, he worked for various restaurants as a head cook and chef.
Alighier accepted the Master’s call and entered his eternal rest on June 13, 2021. He was preceded in death by: his grandmother, Hazel McClain; his uncle, James Johnson; his sister, Shamecil Jackson; and two aunts, Bernice Garrison and Lorine Flagg.
Those left to cherish his memories are: his fiancé, Dawn Lynady; his children, Aligheria Young, Ke’Andre Young, Aligherane Young, Forevar Young, Aunne Young, Eddie Young, and Tyanna Young; his siblings, Rodricas Young, Sr., William Young, Sr., Furnessa Young, and 16 other siblings; his best friends, Calvin Williams, Jerry Joyner, and Darryl Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
